PartnershipA longtime fan of the South, James Beard award-winning Chef Rick Tramonto immersed himself into the traditions of southern cuisine at Restaurant R’evolution, in partnership with celebrated Louisiana native son Chef John Folse. Friends for over a decade, the two chefs deepened their bond in the wake of Hurricane Katrina when Folse asked Tramonto to join his large-scale efforts to feed evacuees and rescuers across the region. That life-changing experience reinforced Tramonto’s respect for the resilience of the South and laid the foundation for the establishment of Home on the Range: Folse Tramonto Restaurant Development, LLC in August 2010. Restaurant R’evolution opened in New Orleans in June 2012 as the first joint venture for the two chefs with Seafood R’evolution in Ridgeland, MS following just over two years later.
